The shopping-days number counts every calendar day from today through December 24, including today. That is the classic definition used by retailers. Because stores and carriers are often closed or limited on Sundays and Thanksgiving, we also show a smaller number that excludes them. If your list is long and your free time is limited, plan around the smaller figure, because that is the number of days you can realistically shop in person and still receive shipped orders.
